That Christmas Feeling

From our WISDOM FOR TODAY series.

During the Christmas season many experience an indescribable longing.

It is God using that time of the year – that time when we celebrate His birthday as a man – to tug at our spirit and draw our attention to what He has done for us.

Christmas is a time set aside by Christians to celebrate the birth of Jesus, God who became flesh and dwelt amongst us. God chose to become a man in order to experience our pains, our joys, our hopes, and our failures. That way when He says, “I know how you feel,” we know it’s true.

He also came to give the greatest gift imaginable. The gift of Himself in our lives.

A gift that fills all the cracks of our human frailty: the emptiness, the hurts, the regrets, and the failures. A gift that in the end will take us from this earthly life to the eternal one. And there’s only one way to get that gift.

Make sure you claim it right here, if you have not already done so.

To help set the mood for the Holidays, we’ve selected two songs about the real reason for the season. JESUS. Watch videos below.

1) O Holy Night, best Christmas song ever 2) O Little Town of Bethlehem, 2nd best Christmas song ever. Both are interpreted by the AMAZING Nat King Cole.

If your soul is not stirred when you listen to them, then there might be something wrong😉 .

“Behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:10-11
